Archive for April, 2013

I recently participated in a project made by @H50BAMF to make a calendar for the month of May and this was what I came up with. It was fun and something to get your mind off everyday things. She will be continuing this every month so if you are interested click on the picture and it will take you to her blog or follow her on Twitter @H50BAMF to get the details. If the picture doesn’t direct you, click on the link below.

Today, April 30th, Mexico celebrates “Dia del Niño” or as it translates in English “Children’s Day”. As a proud Latina and proud McPerv I decided to bring some of my heritage into this for today and last night’s episode gave me just the right tools to use. So let’s take a moment to look back into Steve McGarrett as a kid.

For those interested in learning a bit more about this day, which is actually celebrated globally but on different dates, here’s a link to some history.

Last night, while chatting with a few McPervs, I came up with the idea of collecting our fellow McPervs birthdays and put them on a list which I will publish on this blog as soon as possible. You don’t necessarily have to be a McPerv. All “ships” are welcome to participate. I just like to call all my followers McPervs. So if you are interested leave your Twitter username and birthday in a comment or message me on Twitter. Whatever preference you have works. You might get a special surprise on your birthday 😉

With that being said, keep on McPerving and have an O’Caanilicious day!

McGarrett at work…

Posted: April 23, 2013 in Hawaii Five-0

Anyone ever wonder what our boy does while sitting behind a computer at work? The show makes us believe he’s doing research for a current case they might be working on. I have my own theory.

Sure, McGarrett is a BAMF hard working Super Seal but he’s also human and humans are curious by nature. My theory is that at every opportunity he has, McGarrett logs into his computer with the excuse of doing “research” when in reality he’s checking into “McPervland” or “McPervWorld”.

Can you imagine all sorts of craziness he comes across? Do you think he minds? What’s YOUR take on it?

Airs: Monday, May 20 at 10/9c

The team must find a terrorist who landed his hijacked transport plane in Oahu before he is able to carry out his attack. All the while, Kono is on the run for a murder she didn’t commit and McGarrett learns some shocking news from Wo Fat. Could it have something to do with what happened between Wo Fat and McGarrett’s mother Doris in the safe house? And can McGarrett trust either of them? “We find our team risking it all by putting their trust in people or things that maybe they shouldn’t,” executive producer Peter Lenkov says. “We’ll see if their faith pays off.” As for whether Doris will stick around, Lenkov says, “We’ve only just begun to scratch the surface on Doris McGarrett. … Her story’s not quite done yet.” But someone will likely say goodbye. “The English translation of our finale title is ‘Farewell and take care,’ Lenkov says. “You can take want you want from that.”
